Terms of Use and Linking Agreement for CAICA Banners

 

CAICA appreciates your use of its banners to promote CAICA’s mission and help spreading the word about abuse, neglect, and deaths in residential facilities and programs for children and teens. You may use CAICA banners on your web site, on Blogs, and in Forums, so long as your use complies with and you agree to the following terms and conditions.

  • You will not modify any CAICA banner in any way.
  • You will actively link any CAICA banner you post on your web site to http://caica.org.
  • You will not use any CAICA banner in any context that may place any child or parent in a false light.
  • You will not use any CAICA banner for any commercial or sponsorship purpose.
  • You will not use any CAICA banner in any way that may create the impression CAICA profits from the enrollment of any child into any facility*
  • You will not use any CAICA banner in any way that may create an impression of endorsement by CAICA of any individual, entity, product, goods, services, program, event, or web site.
  • You will not use any CAICA banner in any way that may create an impression of affiliation, sponsorship, or partnership between CAICA and you.
  • You will not use any CAICA banner in any context that may tarnish CAICA's name or reputation.
  • You will not use any CAICA banner on any web site that includes pornography or any content CAICA finds in its absolute and sole discretion to be lewd, obscene, vulgar, harassing, defamatory, offensive, or objectionable.
  • You agree to immediately remove CAICA’s banner(s) from your web site if instructed to do so by CAICA.


    * To clarify any misinformation, CAICA is not a referral agency and does not refer children to programs nor has CAICA at any time profited by any child being placed into a program or facility.

    The laws shall govern this agreement. You acknowledge CAICA may periodically update this agreement and you are responsible for checking www.caica.org to learn of any changes.
