Little Rock - A disturbing accusation against a West Little Rock School, the mother of a developmentally disabled teenager says an employee at Pinnacle Pointe Hospital broke her daughters arm, and then lied about the incident.

School officials aren’t saying much but the student’s mother has filed a police report accusing an employee of third degree battery.

17-year-old Jasma Sanders admits she threw a temper tantrum last Thursday afternoon but says she’s still shocked by a school employee’s reaction.

(Jasma Sanders, Student) "He bent my arm all the way up to my back and he had his elbow in my back and he pulled it so hard that it had popped."

Jasma’s mother says her daughter asked for an ambulance but school officials said it wasn’t possible.

(Jacequline Sanders, Mother) "They told her 911 didn't answer. And that's the reason she was being transported in the school van."

An x-ray revealed two severe breaks in Jasma’s left arm. Her mother says school staff told doctors she simply fell. But according to a police report the staff at St. Vincent’s hospital discussed their suspicions that the injury did not occur from a fall to the ground.

Pinnacle Pointe Hospital says they refuse to comment on individual causes but in a written statement CEO Lisa Evans did say, "Our staff is extensively trained in non-violent methods to de-escalate and contain adolescents who may become physically combative towards others. "

No word on who the accused employee is, what he did, or if he will stay on staff at the school.
