Foster mother arrested following child's death

GRESHAM, Ore. - Police arrested a Gresham woman on Saturday, six days after the death of a toddler who was in her care.

Dunia Soledad-Moreno, 29, was charged with murder by abuse and criminal mistreatment.

Her 2-year-old foster daughter was taken to Mount Hood Medical Center on Tuesday where she was pronounced dead. The medical examiner says the toddler died of internal injuries.

There is no word on when Soledad-Moreno will be in court, but it is likely it will be sometime
