ATTEND COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS' CANDLE LIGHTING IN YOUR COMMUNITY:

Compassionate Friends are holding their 10th Annual Worldwide Candle Lighting on December 10, 2006 in remembrance of children who have died. Or, if you cannot attend:

JOIN CAICA IN REMEMBERING CHILDREN WHO HAVE DIED IN RESIDENTIAL CARE ...

CAICA'S CANDLE LIGHTING CEREMONY "REACHING FOR THE LIGHT":

We are inviting you to join us in this event. Our readers encompass the globe. People in every state in the United States, and those from South and Central America to Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, Hawaii, and more, have found CAICA. We ask that you take a moment of your time on December 10 at 7:00 p.m. to light a candle in remembrance of children who have died in residential care including wilderness programs, boot camps, behavior modification programs, boarding schools, mental health facilities, state-run programs for troubled youth, etc.

CAICA will have a special memorial for these children on the website, so as you light your candle on Dec. 10 please visit us and click on the Candle (above) with the child Reaching for the Light.

If you participate in the Candle Lighting Ceremony for children who have died in residential care, whether you participated in your local community or with us on CAICA, and if you would like to share with our readers how the experience impacted you, please send us an e-mail at info@caica.org. We will share your e-mails here on CAICA. Let us all be a voice for those who no longer have a voice!

Thank you, Suncana, for letting us know about this important event. CAICA will plan to hold a Compassionate Friends Candle Lighting Ceremony in our community (Vancouver, Washington), in December 2007.
